Dr. Patricia Jerez-Martin

Dr. Patricia Jerez-Martin was born and raised in Bogota-Colombia.

She received her Medical Degree in Colombia. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at the University of South Florida. Then, she completed her fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of South Florida. Dr. Jerez-Martin is board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Jerez-Martin is a past President of the Hillsborough County Pediatric Society. She is also a dedicated volunteer at the Allergy and Immunology clinic at Judeo-Christian Clinic. She teaches medical residents in training.

Dr. Jerez-Martin is fluent in Spanish and English.

 

Dr. Bhumika B. Patel

Dr. Bhumika Patel

Dr. Bhumika B. Patel is board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Patel is from New York and moved to the Tampa Bay area in 2015. She received her medical degree from St. George’s University. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Stony Brook University Medical Center, where she also served a fourth year as a Chief Resident. Dr. Patel then completed her fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of South Florida and John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Patel is dedicated to teaching University of South Florida Pediatric and Internal Medicine residents. She is also involved in immunodeficiency research. She has published findings in several peer-reviewed journals and has presented at national conferences. In addition to providing notable expertise to adults and children with allergic rhinitis and asthma, Dr. Patel has special interests in food allergies, allergic diseases of the skin, and immunodeficiency disorders. She strongly believes in patient education as a vital component in treatment success and is passionate about optimizing each patient’s quality of life.
